This one-day intensive arms leaders with the tools  and practice to be an effective people leader on Day One.  It is also perfect as a refresher for leaders who would like to be more effective in their roles. About the expert:


Mandy Gooch-Smith is a purpose-driven people leader, and strategy and operations executive.  After building her career at Macquarie Group in People Strategy and Corporate Development, Mandy joined a mission-led technology start-up with 10 people back home in Sydney, Australia. Since joining Expert360 in 2015, Mandy has been pivotal in building the team, shaping culture and scaling core business operations into APAC’s leading freelance marketplace and management platform.


Mandy’s leadership style is centered on building trust and loyalty within teams through radical candor and radical transparency. She inspires leaders to rethink the way they approach work and people - coaching them to cultivate meaningful relationships and meaningful work as the key to engagement and high performance. 


Mandy is also deeply passionate about mentoring and nurturing talent, focussing on building a growth-mindset and confidence, particularly within young female leaders.


As COO at Expert360, Mandy leads People & Culture, Sales Operations, Business Operations, Talent Operations, Customer Support and Strategic Projects. Mandy holds a B.Com in Economics & Management, and her Masters in Finance & Human Resources, from the University of Sydney. 


Workshop logistics:

This workshop is one day and is limited to fifteen participants, enabling Mandy to focus on your objectives, answer questions and give personal feedback. Mandy delivers the course in person, weaving in real-life examples from her experience working at Expert360 and a range of other companies.  Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions particular to their business objective by email in the week leading up to the workshop and Mandy will personalize the content and exercises to address everyone’s goals. At the end of the course you will walk away with tangible skills that you will be able to implement immediately. This workshop is held in an awesome boardroom, in the Sydney CBD and runs from 9.30am– 5pm with short breaks. Lunch, morning and afternoon tea is provided.
